The Future Continuous ( Progressive ) Tense

Характеристика действия	Действие будет происходить в определенный момент или период времени.

Формула образования	shall / will + be + V-ing (Participle I)
Утвердительное предложение	The boss will be making a report in the afternoon. Шеф будет выступать с докладом завтра днем. When I come back, they will be having supper. Когда я вернусь, они будут ужинать.
Отрицательное предложение	The boss won’t be making a report at 10 o’clock tomorrow. Шеф не будет выступать с докладом завтра в 10 часов. When I come back, they will not be having supper. Когда я вернусь, они не будут ужинать.
Вопросительное предложение	Willthe boss be making a report at 10 o’clock tomorrow? Будет ли шефвыступать с докладом завтра в 10 часов? Willthey be having supper when I come back? Будут ли они ужинать, когда я вернусь?

Exercise 1. Comment on the use of the Future Continuous Tense in these sentences. Translate them.

1. This time tomorrow I’ll be lying on a beach in Tunisia. 2. Don’t telephone after eight. I’ll be having dinner. 3. Professor Corb will be giving another lecture on English literature at the same tine next week. 4. Will you be having dinner at home this evening? 5. I shall soon be starting my studies at King’s College. 6. When will you be visiting us again? 7. The train will be arriving soon. 8. I’ll be seeing Tom tomorrow. 9. Exercise 2. Put the verbs in brackets into the Future Continuous Tense.
