1. Read the international words:

 

Censorship, apartheid, express, cultural, boycott, isolate, original style, musician, jazz, accurately, slang, demonstrate.

 

2. Find a suitable definition for a word and reproduce it.

Geurrilla – unofficial soldier, who usually attacks in small groups;

To expel – to send someone away from a country, school or organization permanently;

Colony – country or area which is under the particular control of another nation;

Civil war – war between two opposing groups from the same country.

3. Translate into Russian:

Unexplored blank, the great land-grab, to claim huge areas, diamond mines, to gain the independence, to accept black majority rule, a guerrilla war, to redistribute land, the economy collapsed.

4. After reading the text speak of the main events in East Africa in its struggle for freedom.
