Пособие посвящено системе средств выражения плана будущего в современном английском языке, а также повторению всей временной системы изъявительного наклонения. 

Теоретическая часть представлена в виде сводной таблицы средств выражения будущего, вынесенной в раздел «Приложения». Организация таблицы позволяет рассматривать каждое средство выражения будущего в отдельности или же в системе, в зависимости от специфики учебного процесса. В практической части грамматические упражнения тренировочного характера дополняются заданиями коммуникативно-творческого плана, направленными на развитие навыков повседневной разговорной речи.  

Предлагаемые учебные материалы ориентированы на использование в учебном процессе вуза при подготовке специалистов как узколингвистического направления, так и широкого цикла гуманитарных и естественнонаучных дисциплин, в том числе в системе двухуровневого высшего и послевузовского профессионального образования.
