Существует ряд общепринятых правил этикета, которые необходимо соблюдать при представлении и знакомстве. Пер­вым всегда здоровается и представляется:

Когда в обществе представляют одного человека нескольким, обычно громко называют его имя, фамилию, должность Представляемый отвешивает лёгкий поклон всему обществу.

 

Если кто-то знакомит двух людей, он должен назвать пред­ставляемых. При этом мужчину представляют женщине, менее знакомого человека тому, кого Вы знаете лучше.

 

При знакомстве принято подавать правую руку. Если правая рука повреждена, то можно, извинившись, подать левую  руку. В нашей стране знакомые могут приветствовать друг друга рукопожатием и при дальнейших встречах. Подобный подход практикуется также в Северной Америке. А вот в Великобритании руку подают только один раз при первом знакомстве.
