The following archetypes and class features are available to vine leshys, as well as to other characters with the leshy subtype. Leshys can also take the treesinger друид archetype (Pathfinder RPG Advanced Race Проводник 25) even though they are not эльфы. Herbalist (Алхимик Archetype)

Vine leshys who study the physical and spiritual composition of their own bodies have discovered a strange herbal Алхимия all their own.

Herbalism (Св): An herbalist’s studies allow him a unique method of creating alchemical Открытия. He can attempt Профессия (травник) checks in place of Ремесло (алхимик) checks for all purposes, and he gains a мастерство bonus equal to half his алхимик level on Профессия (травник) checks to create alchemical items and to foЯрость for and process herbs (see page 152). This alters Алхимия and the алхимик’s key ability score.

Естественная Magic: An herbalist’s study of the leshy spirit grants him access to естественная Магия that eludes other алхимикs. Seedpods (Св): An herbalist can produce and throw seedpods as ranged touch attacks, similar to the ranged attacks of other leshys. He can create a number of seedpods each Дня equal to his алхимик level + his Мудрость modifier and can throw them as a основное действие with a range increment of 20 feet. A seedpod deals 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage, plus an additional 1d6 points of damage at 3rd level and every 2 levels thereafter (this additional damage isn’t multiplied on a critical hit or from effects like Жестокий Удар). Leshy Caller (Пс): You can spontaneously swap out any of your Домен spells for a Призыв Природного Союзника spell of the same level or lower, to a maximum of summon

nature’s ally VII. If you do, you must Использование the spell to summon one or more leshys. Add leaf leshyB3, gourd leshyB3, fungus leshyB3, seaweed leshyB3, and lotus leshyB5 to your Призыв Природного Союзника I, II, III, IV, and V lists, respectively. These curious creatures wield ancient powers unknown to any other kineticists.

Leshy Element: A leshykineticist must select the Дерево element (see page 58) as her primary element and for both her expanded elements. She must choose Дерево blast as her first simple blast and positive blast as her second simple blast. At 6th level, she gains green tongue as a bonus utility wild talent, ignoring its Предпосылки. At 7th level, when she first gains positive blast, she gains kinetic лечениеer and the photokinetic Насыщение instead of the extra wild talent of 3rd level or lower for expanding in the same element. Her kinetic лечениеer wild talent restores 1 extra hit point per die when healing Сфера Растений creatures. At 9th level, she gains an extra wild talent of 3rd level or lower of her choice. At 10th level, she gains greater green tongue as a bonus utility wild talent, ignoring its Предпосылки.

This alters element and expanded element, and replaces the 6th- and 10th-level utility wild talents and maximize metakinesis.

Basic Leshykinesis (Св): A vine leshy leshykineticist can Использование her basic phytokinesis to move while in her alternate vine form, with a base быстрое of 10 feet and a лазание быстрое of 10 feet. The vine counts as a prehensile appendage for the purpose of aiming kinetic blasts and gathering power. At the GM’s discretion, this ability might apply to leshykineticists of other leshy varieties as long as their alternate forms aren’t Корень ed to the ground (and even then, they might be able to Использование something like a branch to aim kinetic blasts).

This alters basic phytokinesis.

Photosynthetic Buffer: A leshykineticist fills her buffer with energy photosynthesized from sunlight, rather than from internal energy. Once per day, she can spend 1 hour motionless in her alternate Сфера Растений form soaking in sunlight to fill her internal buffer. However, she can’t fill her internal buffer by accepting burn, and her internal buffer becomes empty whenever her burn is removed. She can’t benefit from any abilities that increase the maximum burn her buffer can hold.

This alters internal buffer.

Green Возрождение (Св): At 20th level, a leshykineticist taps into the ancient power of the First World. Your blast damages living creatures with Свет. You call out to nearby Природа Приведение and grant them temporary Сфера Растений bodies. These creatures are similar to leshys, except they are Маленький and far more simpleminded. The swarm uses the statistics for a rat swarm, except it does not carry a Болезнь or have scent. The leshy swarm has Ночное Зрение with a range of 60 feet and is immune to Электричество, Разум effects, paralysis, Яд, Полиморф, Сон effects, sonic, and stunning.

You can direct the leshy swarm to move up to its быстрое along a path for your choice by spending a основное действие to communicate your desires through the spell, or by spending a действие движения if you can speak to creatures that understand only Друидic and Sylvan. The leshys are замешательство by their sudden possession of new bodies and assume that nearly any creature you direct them toward is a threat. They attack all creatures within their area except for you and other creatures with the Сфера Растений type.

Shifter

Whether riding on the Ветер as a falcon or hiding in some fetid bog waiting to strike, the shifter is a true master of the wild. Both a devoted defender of друидic circles and a fierce predator, the shifter can take on the forms of Природа and even fИспользование them together with devastating Эффект and unbridled savagery. By way of the друидic discipЛиния of Природный Облик, they become living aspects of the wild. At first, they are able to assume only a minor aspect, but with Время and practЛьда they can fully transform into ever more powerful forms.

The shifter class offers players a way to experience a shapeshifting character that is more martially inclined than a spellcasting друид. With each new level, the shifter’s powers grow in new and surprising ways, creating a character that thrives in battle, Исследование, and скрытность.

Shifters are protectors of друидic circles and avengers of nature, yet a shifter’s Магия is different from that of her друидic kin. For those leaning toward the causes of law and good, the pathof theshifterisoneof contemplationandunderstanding. They become one with Природа through mental and physical mimicry and gain an ever deeper spiritual understanding of the ebb and flow of the естественная броня world. Those leaning toward the Хаос and Зло teachings of друидic philosophy find such enСветenment through more violent means. These are typically quicker Преобразованиеs, both Бесчеловечное and painful, imparting the dark lessons of Природа through its most catastrophic forms. Shifters who lean toward true neutrality are the most diverse when it comes to their Приказ of metamorphic secrets.

Role: The shifter is so attuned to Природа and the wild beasts of the world that she can call upon those powers to mystically fortify her being. Fluid in form and function, she can shПримат herself to overcome hardships and support those she befriends or serves.

CLASS FEATURES

The following are the class features of the shifter.

A shifter speaks Друидic, a secret Языка known only to друидs and shifters, which she learns upon becoming a 1st- level shifter. Друидic is a free Языка for a shifter; that is, she knows it in addition to her regular allotment of Языки, and it doesn’t take up a Языка slot. Shifters are forbidden to teach this Языка to non-друидs or non-shifters.

Shifter Аспект (Св): At 1st level, a shifter gains her first aspect—a category of Сфера Животных to which her body and soul have become superестественная броняly attuned. She can Сдвиг into her aspect’s minor form (see Aspects on page 28) for a number of minutes per Дня equal to 3 + her shifter level. The duration need not be consecutive but must be spent in 1-minute increments. Shifting into a minor form is a быстрое действие, while ending the Эффект is a свободное действие that can be taken only on the shifter’s turn. Until a shifter reaches 9th level and gains the chimeric Аспект class feature, she can assume only one minor form at a time. Shifting to a new Аспект (or aspects, in the case of chimeric aspects or greater chimeric aspects) ends all minor forms currently manifested. The minor forms of aspects are not Полиморф effects, and the shifter does not lose the benefits of a minor form while affected by Полиморф effects.

As the shifter gains levels, she gains more aspects; she gains her second Аспект at 5th level, a third Аспект at 10th level, and a fourth at 15th level. Aspects are detailed in their own section starting on page 28.

Shifter Когти (Св): At воля, a shifter in her естественная броня form can extend her Когти as a быстрое действие to Использование as a weapon. This magical Преобразование is fueled as much by the shifter’s faith in the естественная броня world as it is by inborn talent. The Когти on each hand can be used as a primary естественная броня attack, dealing 1d4 points of Проницательность and slashing damage (1d3 if she is Небольшой). If she uses one of her claw attacks in concert with a weapon held in the other hand, the claw acts as a secondary естественная броня attack instead.

As the shifter gains levels, the power of her Когти increases. At 3rd level, her Когти ignore DR/Холод iron and DR/silver. At 7th level, her claw damage increases to 1d6 (1d4 if Небольшой). At 11th level, her claw damage increases to 1d8 (1d6 if Небольшой). At 13th level, her claw damage increases to 1d10 (1d8 if Небольшой). At 17th level, the damage die does not increase, but the critical multiplier becomes ×3. Lastly, at 19th level, the Когти ignore DR/adamantine and DR/—.

While a shifter uses Природный Облик to assume her aspect’s major form, her естественная броня attacks gain the same benefits granted by her shifter Когти ability. If the form she takes has claw attacks, she can Использование either the base damage of her shifter Когти or the damage of the form’s claws, whichever is greater. If the form does not have claw attacks, she can choose up to two естественная броня attacks that would deal less damage than her shifter claw damage and have those attacks instead deal the same damage as her shifter claws.

This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 shifter levels thereafter (up to a maximum of +5 at 20th level).

These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks and when the shifter is flat- footed. She loses these bonuses when she is immobilized or беспомощьность. These bonuses do not stack with the монах AC bonus class feature.

Woodland Stride (Экс): At 3rd level, a shifter can move through any sort of undergrowth (such as briars, естественная броня thorns, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal быстрое and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Briars, thorns, and overgrown areas that are enchanted or magically manipulated to impede motion still affect the shifter.

Природный Облик (Св): At 4th level, a shifter gains the ability to turn herself into the major form of one of her aspects and back again once per day. This ability functions as beast shПримат II, except as noted here. The shifter can turn into the major form of only one of her aspects at a time. The Эффект lasts for 1 hour per shifter level or until she changes back. Using Природный Облик to change to a major form or back is a основное действие that doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity. Often a particular aspect’s major form grants abilities beyond the normal Эффект of beast shПримат II. Each major form details the abilities the shifter gains with that major form and at what level; she gains these instead of the form abilities from beast shПримат II, but she still gains beast shПримат II abilities that are размер dependent.

A shifter loses her ability to speak while in Сфера Животных form because she is limited to the sounds that a normal, untrained Сфера Животных of that form can make, but she can communicate with other Животные of the same general grouping as her form. She can also communicate in nonсловесный ways with allies.

A shifter can Использование this ability an additional Время per Дня at 6th level and every 2 levels thereafter, for a total of eight times per Дня at 18th level.

A shifters can take черты and other abilities that require Природный Облик; for the purpose of qualifying for Предпосылки, her effective друид level is equal to her shifter level.

Тайные Тропы (Экс): At 5th level, a shifter leaves no trail in естественная броня surroundings and cannot be tracked. She can choose to leave a trail if she so desires.

Chimeric Аспект (Св): At 9th level, when a shifter uses her shifter Аспект ability to take on a minor form, she can choose two aspects and assume the minor form of each aspect.

Greater Chimeric Аспект (Св): At 14th level, when a shifter uses her shifter Аспект ability to take on a minor form, she can choose up to three aspects and assume the minor form of each aspect.

Final Аспект (Св): At 20th level, a shifter gains access to a fifth aspect, and when she uses shifter’s aspect, she can assume the minor forms of all her aspects.

ASPECTS

A shifter draws her primary Сила from an association with a specific type of animal. As a result, when a shifter uses her shifter Аспект or Природный Облик class features, she can assume only the forms of her chosen aspects. Until reaching 5th level, a shifter has only a single aspect, but as she increases in level, she gains more control over her metamorphosis, allowing her to take on multiple aspects and even merge aspects.

All shifter aspects have a minor form and a major form. The minor form grants a shifter a few of the animal’s physical traits, while the major Аспект is the form she takes on when she uses Природный Облик to fully transform into an animal. The list of abilities gained with the major Аспект include those gained from the Природный Облик class feature, but the benefits gained from any resulting changes to размер are not listed here (see beast shПримат II).

The following options represent only the most common

choices used by shifters. Other aspects based on different Животные certainly exist, and might grant similar powers or entirely new abilities based on the animal’s themes and nature. You can Использование the following aspects as Проводникs for developing aspects of your own design, but if you Желание to do so, you must secure your GM’s permission.

 

Bat

The Аспект of the bat imparts mastery over Тьма and the night. Though not as powerful in Битва as some other aspects, those who take this Аспект become адепт at skirmishing and Шпионing.


Minor Form: You gain Ночное Зрение with a range of 60 feet. If you already have Ночное Зрение with this range or greater, the range of your Ночное Зрение increases by 30 feet. At 8th level, you gain Ночное Зрение with a range of 90 feet instead. If you already have Ночное Зрение with this range or greater, your Ночное Зрение increases by 30 feet. At 15th level, you gain the 8th-level benefit and gain Слепое Чувство with a range of 15 feet or, if you already have Слепое Чувство with a range of 15 feet or more, you increase its range by 10 feet.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a dire bat (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 30). While in this form, you gain a полет быстрое of 40 feet (clumsy) and Слепое Чувство with a range of 10 feet. At 8th level, the полет быстрое increases to 60 feet (good), the range of your Слепое Чувство increases to 20 feet, and you gain the Полетby Attack черта (Bestiary 315). Bear

The Аспект of the Медведь invokes a juggernaut of tireless Двужильный and яростное power. Those who take this Аспект are known for surviving severe wounds and delivering punishing blows in return.

Minor Form: You gain a +2 усиление bonus to your Constitution score. At 8th level, the bonus increases to +4, and at 15th level it increases to +6.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a dire Медведь (Bestiary 31). While in this form, you gain Сумеречное Зрение and Нюх (30 feet). At 8th level, you gain Improved Естественная броня Attack (Bestiary 315) with your claws. At 15th level, the critical multiplier of your claw attack increases by 1 (×2 becomes ×3) to a maximum of ×4, and you gain the Awesome Blow черта (Bestiary 314).

 

Bull

The bull is a fierce charger and is адепт at trampling its foes, pounding them to a bloody pulp.

Minor Form: You gain a +2 усиление bonus to your Сила score. At 8th level, the bonus increases to +4, and at 15th level it increases to +6.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Большой bull (see Cattle on page 179). While in this form, you gain Сумеречное Зрение, scent, and a Забодать attack (1d8 damage) with powerful charge (+1d8 on your Забодать attack). At 8th level, you gain the Затаптывание as per the Универсализм monster rule (dealing Забодать damage plus 1-1/2 times your Сила modifier). At 15th level, your Забодать damage increases to 2d8 and you gain the Awesome Blow черта (Bestiary 314).

Дейноних

The Дейноних is адепт at racing from ambush to deliver grievous wounds with its talons. This Аспект infuses the shifter with an enhanced ability to surprise foes and strike first in battle.

Minor Form: You gain a +2 bonus on Initiative checks. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Дейноних (Bestiary 84). While in this form, you gain a base быстрое of 60 feet, Сумеречное Зрение, Нюх (30 feet), a Укус attack, and two talon attacks (your talon attacks can Использование your shifter Когти damage), and pounce. At 8th level, you gain two foreclaw attacks (these attacks cannot Использование your shifter Когти damage) and a +4 народ bonus on Акробатics checks. At 15th level, you gain a +1 уклонение bonus to AC and Удар На Проходе as a bonus черта.

 

Falcon

The falcon senses all and has the быстрое to hunt down even the most Неуловимый prey. Those who take this Аспект gain enhanced abilities to perceive and reconnoiter the wilderness—little escapes this shifter’s attention.

Minor Form: You gain a +4 мастерство bonus on Внимание checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Небольшой falcon (see page 179). Frog

The Аспект of the frog grants great Подвижность in leaping through the Воздух and плаваниеming in water, as well surprising Тактики in combat.

Minor Form: You gain a +4 мастерство bonus on Акробатics checks when Прыжокing and on Плавание checks. These bonuses increase to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Большой frog (as per the giant frog but with a space of 10 feet; Bestiary 135). While in this form, you gain a плавание быстрое of 30 feet, low- Свет Видение, Нюх (30 feet), a Укус attack with the Захват ability, and the ability to treat all Прыжокs as if you had a Running start. At 8th level, you gain a tongue attack (see below). At 15th level, your плавание быстрое increases to 60 feet. In addition, the Досягаемость of your tongue attack increases to 30 feet, and your tongue attack deals bludgeoning damage equal to the damage dealt by your shifter claws.

Tongue (Экс): Your tongue is a primary естественная броня attack with a Досягаемость of 15 feet. Your tongue deals no damage on a hit, but can be used to grab. You do not gain the захват condition while using your tongue in this manner.

 

Lizard

The Аспект of the lizard is one of swift, Благодатьful movement, granting the ability to dИскуство and scurry with an astounding Ловкость and balance.

Minor Form: You gain a +4 мастерство bonus on Акробатics checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.


Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of an agile and brightly colored giant lizard (as per the giant frilled lizard from Bestiary 194, but with the following changes). While in this form, you gain a base быстрое of 40 feet, Сумеречное Зрение, Нюх (30 feet), a primary Укус attack (1d8 damage) with the Захват ability and a secondary Хвост attack (1d6 damage) with the Сбивание С Ног ability. Монахey

The монахey is a лазаниеing trickster who specializes in Подвижность and manual agility.

Minor Form: You gain a +4 мастерство bonus on Лазание checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Большой монахey (as per

the dire ape; Bestiary 17). While in this form, you gain a лазание быстрое of 30 feet, Сумеречное Зрение,

and Нюх (30 feet), and you can still Использование your hands to wield weapons, hold

objects, and manipulate objects normally. At 8th level, your лазание быстрое increases to 50 feet, and you can Использование your Хвост to hold and manipulate objects as if you had a third hand, but you cannot Использование it to wield Оружие or щитs. At 15th level, you gain a Раздирать attack that deals extra damage equal to that of your shifter Когти attack plus 1-1/2 times your Сила bonus when you hit with two of your normal shifter Когти attacks.

 

Mouse

The Аспект of the moИспользование offers the ability to gain access to hard-to-Досягаемость places while avoiding many attacks and effects. Minor Form: You gain evasion, as per the плут class feature. At 12th level, this benefit becomes Уклонение+, as per the плут Продвинутый Прием.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Маленький moИспользование (as per the dire rat, but with a space of 2-1/2 feet and a Досягаемость of 0 feet; Bestiary 232). While in this form, you gain a лазание быстрое of 20 feet, a плавание быстрое of 20 feet, low- Свет Видение, and Нюх (30 feet), and you Использование your Dexterity modifier instead of your Сила modifier on Лазание and Плавание checks. At 8th level, your лазание and плавание быстроеs both increase to 40 feet. At 15th level, you do not provoke attacks of opportunity while moving through or out of a creature’s threatened area or moving into its space, but you do when you leave its space.

 

Owl

The Аспект Совы is one of Тишина. This predator Скольжениеs through the Ночи unheard, a master of Проныра attacks.

Minor Form: You gain a +4 мастерство bonus on Скрытность checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a Средний Сова (see page 181). While in this form, you gain two claw attacks (1d6 damage), Ночное Зрение with a range of 60 feet, and a +2 народ bonus on Скрытность checks. At 8th level, you gain Полетby Attack (Bestiary 315) as a bonus черта, and the range of your Ночное Зрение increases to 120 feet. At 15th level, you can take the form of a Большой Сова and gain the benefits of the Snatch черта (Bestiary 316), but you can Использование it only to Захват a creature at least one размер category Небольшойer than yourself, and you can squeeze a creature захват with this ability no matter what размер it is.

 

Snake

The snake is a sneaky and lethal foe who strikes unexpectedly with смертельный effect, while avoiding opportune strikes made in return.

Minor Form: You gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls when making attacks of opportunity and a +2 уклонение bonus to your AC against attacks of opportunity. These bonuses increase to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of an emperor cobra (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 2 252). Tiger

The Тигр is a powerful but Благодатьful hunter of the wild, quietly stalking its prey and then taking it down with ruthless efficiency.

Minor Form: You gain a +2 усиление bonus to your Dexterity score. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a dire Тигр (Bestiary 265). While in this form, you gain a base быстрое of 40 feet, Сумеречное Зрение, Нюх (30 feet), the Захват ability with both your Укус and claw attacks, and pounce. At 8th level, you gain a +4 народ bonus on Скрытность checks. At 15th level, you gain the Повеса attack with your back claw attacks (dealing additional damage equal to that of your claw attack).

 

Wolf

The Аспект of the Волк provides the senses and the attacks of the mighty wolf, whose instincts are honed to Выслеживание and take down its prey.

Minor Form: You gain the Нюх ability with a range of 10 feet, or, if you have the Нюх ability, the range increases by 10 feet. The range of this Нюх or the increase to your Нюх increases to 20 feet at 8th level and 30 feet at 15th level. The range doubles if the opponent is upВетер and is halved if the opponent is downwind.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a dire Волк (Bestiary 278). While in this form, you gain a base быстрое of 50 feet, Сумеречное Зрение, and Нюх (30 feet), and you can make a Сбивание С Ног attempt with your Укус attack. At 8th level, the range of your Нюх Увеличение Способностиs to 40 feet and you gain a +4 народ bonus on Выживание checks when tracking with scent. At 15th level, you gain Improved Естественная броня Attack (bite) (Bestiary 315).

 

Росомаха

This Аспект unlocks the Бесчеловечное Свирепости and tenacious fury of the Росомаха. The Росомаха’s Похоть for Битва Бодрость s its воля to live, and it can press on in Битва longer than its enemies expect.

Minor Form: You gain 1 additional hit point per Кость Здоровья you have, and treat your Constitution score as 4 points higher than it is for the purpose of determining when you die at negative пункты здоровья. At 8th level, you gain Крепкий Орешек as a bonus черта. At 15th level, you treat your Constitution as being 8 points higher for the purpose of determining when you die at negative пункты здоровья.

Major Form: Your shПримат changes to that of a dire Росомаха (Bestiary 279). While in this form, you gain a лазание быстрое of 10 feet, Сумеречное Зрение, and Нюх (30 feet). While in dire Росомаха form, you gain the варвар’s Дар Ярости, but can activate this Ярость only in a round after you’ve taken damage. You can Ярость for a number of rounds each Дня equal to your shifter level. This ability otherwise functions the same as the варвар Ярость ability (unlike a dire Росомаха, you can choose to end this Ярость voluntarily). At 8th level, you can choose two варвар Дары Ярости, treating your shifter level as your effective варвар level for the purposes of meeting Предпосылки. At 15th level, you are no longer утомление at the end of your Ярость.

 

Speaking Druidic For the purposes of teaching and learning the Druidic language, shifters are considered to be druids—the nuances of the language are instrumental in teaching characters of both classes to use and control their abilities. While the rare druidic circle might bar shifters from its order, and while some eccentric shifters may view druids as competitors or even enemies, all shifters are assumed to speak it.

 

EX-SHIFTERS

A shifter who ceases to revere nature, changes to a prohibited alignment, or teaches the Друидic Языка to a non-друид or a non-shifter loses all her superестественная броня abilities. She cannot thereafter gain levels as a shifter until she atones (see the Покаяние spell description on page 245 of the Core Rulebook).
