My future profession is a paramedic

I have always been interested in medicine, so I decided to become a paramedic.
Paramedics work in hospitals, medical laboratories and on ambulances. They carry out primary diagnostics and provide first aid. Paramedics can assist surgeons in operations, conduct laboratory tests, verify the implementation of the sanitary standards of the premises.
It is enough to graduate college to become a paramedic. Perhaps in the future I will continue my education to become a doctor. But I would like to work in this area first.
I know it will be a hard job. It is quite stressful. In addition paramedics often have to work night shifts. But what could be more important than to help people who need it most.
I'm preparing for college thoroughly studying chemistry and biology. These are the most important subjects for future health workers.
I know that I have chosen a difficult path. But this is exactly what I want to dedicate my life to.

Глагол to be в настоящем времени

Глагол to be обозначает «быть» и употребляется во всех временах, существующих в английском языке. В настоящем времени он имеет следующие формы:

am - для местоимения I (я);

is - для местоимений he (он), she (она), it (оно, это) и всех существительных в ед.ч.;

are - для местоимений we (мы), you (ты, вы), they (они) и мн. ч. всех существительных.

Глагол to be в настоящем времени соответствует русскому «есть», которое обычно не произносится в предложениях, где в виде сказуемого выступает существительное, прилагательное или числительное.

He is my doctor.

Он мой доктор.

 

They are not ill.

В разговорной речи обычно используют сокращенные формы глагола to be:

I am = I'm;

you are / we are / they are = you're / we're / they're;

he is / she is / it is = he's / she's / it's;

is not = isn't;

are not = aren't.

 

Отрицание с глаголом to be:

Чтобы построить отрицание с глаголом to be, нужно добавить частицу not.

I am not a doctor’s assistant / Я не фельдшер.

She is not at hospital / Она не в больнице.

 

Вопрос с глаголом to be:

Для того чтобы построить вопросительное предложение с глаголом to be, надо этот глагол вынести вперед, то есть в самое начало предложения.
