. In 1997, she graduated with honors from musicology and in 1999 from the vocal faculty of the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

She trained at the Bach International Academy (1996, Stuttgart, Germany) and the Mariinsky Theater Academy (1999-2006), participated in master classes by major Russian and European musicians, and in various youth opera workshops, and studied the interpretation of ancient music and German romantic songs.

The singer collaborates with major European orchestras, famous domestic and foreign composers, conductors and directors, including A. Petrov, M. Ermler, V. Gergiev, Yu. Temirkanov, P. Peire, S. Sondeckis, N. Alekseev, A. Dmitriev, K. Raikin, D. Chernyakov, G. Kupfer, G. Wieck.

She performed on the stages of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the Mariinsky Theater, the Komishe Opera Berlin, the Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the tetra “Through the Looking Glass”, and the Saratov State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Performed such parts as Donna Anna (“Don Giovanni” by Mozart), Ann Truulaw (“The Adventures of the Hang” by Stravinsky), Violetta and Nannetta (“La Traviata” and “Falstaff” by Verdi), Eurydice (“Orpheus” by Gluck), Tsarevna Lebed (“The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by Rimsky-Korsakov), Tatyana (“Eugene Onegin” by Tchaikovsky) and others. She participated in the world premiere of M. Nyman’s opera “Prologue to Dido and Aeneas,” Russia's first performance of the oratorio “Resurrection of Lazarus” by Schubert-Denisov and “Passion for Brockes” by Handel.

The repertoire of M. Lyudko includes about 500 works by the chamber repertoire, cantata and oratorio I.S. Bach, G. Handel, J. Haydn, W. Mozart, C. Saint-Saens, J. Verdi, A. Dvořák, K. Orff. He performs the music of contemporary composers, many works are dedicated to the singer and were written with a view to her talent (symphonic fantasy “Farewell to...” by A. Petrov, vocal cycles to verses by Beranger and A. Blok G. Belov and others).

She participated in recording music for films (“The garden was full of the moon”, directed by V. Melnikov and “Caged”, directed by S. Breninkmayr), 8 compact discs (4 of which are solo), constantly appears in the press, on radio and television. The main discography is “Words of love” (2002), “Romance about romance” (2006), “I know a lot” (2008), “Star of love (2012),“ Instant trail “(2012) and others.

He tours in the cities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Austria, Malta, Sweden, the USA, Spain, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovakia, Iceland. Among the largest concert halls are Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Jordanhall (Boston), the columned hall of the House of Unions, Hall to them. Tchaikovsky and Kremlin Palace of Congresses (Moscow), Liderhalle (Stuttgart), Philharmonic Halls and Academic Capella (St. Petersburg). Since 2013, Vice President of the regional public charity St. Petersburg Foundation for the Support and Development of Musical Arts and Education.

Maria is the author of the monograph “Style Solfeggio in Modern Vision” (Lambert Academic Publishing, 2011), methodological works, programs, manuals, articles, reports at conferences, actively collaborates with the publishing house “Planet of Music”. Conducts music broadcasts. Conducts master classes and continuing education courses in Russia and abroad (including Harvard University, New York Lyric Opera, Reykjavik University), takes part in the jury of a number of international vocal competitions and festivals (named after D. Shostakovich, "Romansiada", " Grand Prix of St. Petersburg "," ART Vocal "," Star Rhapsody "," Academy "," Petersburg Style "," Talents and Fans "and others).

Since 2005, she has been the head of the solfeggio department and methods of hearing education, since 2009, the department of ancient Russian singing art of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and since 2013, she has been the head of the chamber singing department.

Laureate of 8 international competitions, including Hans Gabor Belvedere (Vienna, 3 prize, 2002), named after I. Yuryeva (Tallinn, 1st prize, 2002), Romansiada (Moscow, 1st prize, 2000), named after V. Sobinova (Saratov, 1 prize, 2000)
