Спорт! Какое маленькое, но очень важное в жизни человека слово. Наша жизнь немыслима без спорта. Каждый черпает в спорте что-то своё. Для одних это красочное зрелище, как спектакль. Для других – укрепление здоровья. Третьи избирают спорт своей профессией. Для нас, школьников, спорт – это здоровье, физическая закалка, выносливость, отличное самочувствие, прекрасное настроение, уверенность в себе и своих силах. К сожалению, в наше время многие ребята почти всё свободное время проводят у компьютера или в игровых залах. А ведь каждый год в сентябре к нам в школу приходят тренеры из различных спортивных секций и приглашают детей заниматься спортом. Многие одноклассники берут у них визитки с расписанием, обещают прийти на занятия. Потом забывают про них или сходят на 1 - 2 занятия и бросают. Я задумался: «Почему мои одноклассники не хотят заниматься спортом? Может они мало знают, что даёт нам спорт?»

The fitness boom of the past decades led to a big rise in the numbers of people participating in sports and activities. Those who pursue the latest fitness fashion are convinced that staying in good physical form requires much more than regular exercise and balanced meals. For anyone who really wants to be healthy, fitness has become an integral part of their lives. A lot of health and fitness clubs, and public leisure centres that were created in many countries indicate the popularity of sports during the past thirty years. These centres with their swimming pools, sunshine beach, water slides, and tropical plants and gyms are very popular among the people. Families can spend their holidays at huge indoor water parks. In such places everybody will have much fun.

People of different ages can design exercises that will fit them. Running, jumping, swimming, bending and stretching are among the most popular exercises. Many people prefer jogging, which is the cheapest and the most accessible sport. Walking is a very popular activity too. For example, popular running competitions are now held everywhere. Lots of people want to see if they can run faster than everyone else. The big city marathons have become sporting events. Television and newspapers report about them in detail. In order to keep fit some people do aerobics or yoga; others prefer some kind of weight training in a gym. People can easily learn more about fitness through popular books and videos that are sold almost everywhere. A healthy body becomes a fashion, an ideal of the life of today. Even moderate physical activity can protect against heart disease and strokes as well as improve general health and the quality of life. Everyone can benefit from being a little more active. Making small changes like using the stairs instead of the lift or walking or cycling instead of taking the bus can help people live a more active, healthier and enjoyable life. Many sports activities have become part of daily Russian life. Football has always been the most popular sport among boys. Playing football is healthy; football also brings people close because in order to win people have to work as a team. Bicycling is very popular in Russia. Skiing, skating, fishing and hunting are wide spread in our country. In summer many people like to go to the bank of the river on a hot day to swim. Another activity that is popular in our country is roller-skating. Today it has reached its peak in our country. At present the lack of facilities make enthusiasts use city pavements or parking lots.

  • One in five 11-to15-year-olds skip breakfast.
  • Many eat only pizza, pies, sweets, chocolate, rolls with sausage and tea for lunch.

I. Введение

 

Здоровье – это главная ценность любого человека. Хорошее крепкое здоровье позволяет добиваться многих серьезных целей, в то время как слабое здоровье вынуждает его обладателя тратить значительную часть своей жизни на лечебные и восстановительные процедуры. Поэтому для того, чтобы обладать хорошим здоровьем, нужно вести здоровый образ жизни. Для этого с раннего детства нужно соблюдать здоровый образ жизни.

Цель нашей работы – актуализировать и развивать знания учащихся о здоровом образе жизни на английском языке.

Задачи:

· выяснить факторы, влияющие на состояние здоровья;

· провести анкетирование одноклассников;

· предложить практические рекомендации для ведения здорового образа жизни на английском языке.

Объект исследования – школьники 5-х классов.

Предмет исследования – соблюдение здорового образа жизни школьников.

Методы исследования:

 

1. Теоретические (анализ литературы)

2. Практические (анкетирование, создание буклета).

 

II. Основная часть

 

На здоровье человека оказывает влияние целая группа различных факторов – это и наследственность, и экологическая обстановка, и уровень развития медицины. Однако наиболее существенным фактором является тот образ жизни, которого придерживается человек. К счастью, это именно та область, которую мы в силах регулировать сами. Здоровый образ жизни одна из актуальных тем нашего времени. Все больше людей, школьников c новыми технологиями, большими нагрузками, нарушенным распорядком дня, ведут неправильный образ жизни.

III. Заключение

 

Здоровье – самая большая ценность для человека. На наше здоровье влияет множество факторов: и климат, и политика, и экономика, и много чего ещё. Что-то мы не в силах изменить. Но очень много зависит и от нас. Чтобы быть здоровым, чтобы жить долго и счастливо, нужно вести здоровый образ жизни. И это под силу каждому человеку. Только нужно понимать, что здоровый образ жизни - это не какое-то временное действие, это ежедневные, на всю жизнь принятые правила.

В данной работе я перечислила практические рекомендации, оформив их в буклете, направленные на соблюдение здорового образа жизни. Мне бы очень хотелось, что бы мои одноклассники и другие школьники хотя бы частично следовали принципам здорового образа жизни.

I. Introduction

The way people live nowadays also tells on their health. They try to do a number of things at the same time, have their finger in every pie. For a lot of people such a situation is stressful. It may result in heart attacks, headaches and other health problems. Also modern living often means little physical activity. We don’t get enough exercise because we use cars and other mechanism to make our lives easier. At the same time we often forget that we were born to move - run, jump and walk, but not to watch television for many hours or to sit in front of the computer monitor. It can easily turn us into weak legless human beings with lots of health problems.

Hypothesis: there are some ways to keep good health and to be healthy.

Actuality: the actuality of the work is that health is the most important thing in the life of people. People do not live but exist if they have bad health.

The aims of the work:

-to increase knowledge about healthy way of life;

-to find out if healthy ways of life change blood test in short time.

The tasks of the work:

-to study the information;

-start a healthy lifestyle;

-to analyze the results

The object of the work: I am, a six year pupil.

II. The main part

A laboratory blood test

A blood test is when a sample of blood is taken from the body to be tested in a lab. Doctors order blood tests to check things such as the levels of glucose, hemoglobin, or white blood cells. This can help them detect problems like a disease or medical condition. Sometimes, blood tests can help them see how well an organ (such as the liver or kidneys) is working.

A complete blood count (CBC) test is a blood test that helps doctors check the level of different types of cells in the blood. A CBC measures:

-red blood cells, which deliver oxygen to the different parts of the body

-white blood cells, which help fight infections

-platelets, which help blood clot to stop bleeding

Why Are CBCs Done?

A CBC can be done as part of a routine checkup to screen for problems or because a child isn't feeling well. The levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets can provide doctors with information about possible problems and other conditions.

I can’t say I felt bad, but very often I felt heaviness in the stomach, I had a sad mood in the morning, I get tired quickly. I know that junk food is harmful because there is a lot of fat, salt or sugar in it, but I like it best of all. I like to eat junk and fast food such as hamburgers, chips, shaurma. My teacher offered me to weigh. My body weight was above normal. I’ve done CBC to check the level of glucose, cholesterol in my body. I with my teacher went to the lab on 7th of November. I tried to look away when the needle is inserted and the blood is collected. My teacher and the doctor help me to relax by taking slow deep breaths. My CBC shows a little high level of cholesterol (the applicate 3). I understood that it happened because of my bad habits in food. During 7 days I had to give up junk food and then to check my blood again. On 14th of November I went to the lab a second time. My heart was beating fast. I was a little nervios. I would like to say about the results of blood test at the end of my work, in conclusion.

Water in our life

Water is a physical need of the human body. We can live without food up to 30-40 days, but without clean drinking water we won’t survive even 3-4 days. This should come as no surprise: the body of an adult consists of around 60-70 percent of water.

An average daily water intake for an adult person is about 2.5 liters including the water containing in food and drinks. Of course, some liquid is contained in all kinds of food: fruit, vegetables, milk, meat and even bread. However, try to drink at least 1.5 liters of pure drinking water apart from your meals.

There are some rules of water drinking. First and foremost, it’s not recommended to wash food down with any drinks. Water dissolves gastric juice which causes problems with digestion. Also, you should not drink right after a meal, because it can lead to digestive disorder as well. Usually doctors recommend drinking a glass of water half an hour before meals. It’s good for digestion, and helps to lose weight, because after a glass of water you will eat less. Also, drink some cool water in the morning, on an empty stomach – it will help you to wake up

Maybe you knew it but I didn’t. I didn’t drink water at all. I drank tea with sugar instead of water. During learning this theme I drank 2 liters water a day and keep all the rules of water drinking. I felt good and noticed that I had a lot of energy and my laziness disappeared.

Drinking enough of pure fresh water every day is one of the healthiest habits. It helps to prevent a lot of diseases and stay young for many years.

 

Healthy food.

There are good and bad habits for health. There are two sins - obesity and inactivity. There are modern bad habits- eating between meals and skipping breakfast.

Regularity in life promotes our health. Sleeping seven or eight hours, getting up early, eating breakfast, a healthy diet and regular meals is a good way to live. I have a better diet. I started to eat healthy food: less fat and more fibre, more vitamins. I found the information about baker’s yeast on the Internet and replaced the bread from the store at home bread. My mother made bread on sour milk. My teacher helped me to make a menu (application 1,2). She advised me to eat liquid food, a lot of fruits and vegetable salads.

There are some facts about healthy food I knew:

1) Garlic prevents heart diseases.

2) Apricot is good for your skin.

3) Green tea protects your teeth.

4) Onion is good for your nerves.

5) Milk strengthens your bones.

6) Banana is good for you muscles.

7) Carrots are good for your eyesight.

8) Milk is very good for children.

Physical activity

My favourite sport is football. And L. Messy is my favourite football player. I want to be like him and have an athletic body. This year I asked my mother to take me to football section. I felt happy. And are you happy?

Doctors say many people are not fit and happy now. But they know the answer to this problem. All over the world there is a problem of obese people. This problem show us people don’t move enough, they prefer to spend their time lying on a sofa or behind TV or computer. To be obese is dangerous for our health. Obese people have a lot of problems.

When my teacher offered me to write this work my weight was 40.6 kg. It was over my normal weight. During our work, within the week, I not only eliminate fast and junk food from my meals, but I added more physical exercises in my daily life. Every morning I did exercises, ran and jump. I lost weight by the end of the week.

I found out that regular physical activity is one of the most important things I can do for my health. It can help me control my weight and strengthen my bones and muscles.

 

Conclusion

My hypothesis was that there are some ways to keep in good health and to be healthy. I have some ways of healthy way of life. I have to play sport. I have to eat healthy food. I have to have good habits.

I have come to conclusion that it is important to study the information how to keep health. Sport helps people be strong and healthy. Good and bad habits influence on our health.Our health depends on food we eat.

My aim was to find out if healthy way of life change blood test in short time. And I made sure it was(application3). During only a week my blood test had changed. The level of cholesterol became lower. I became to feel good and more active.

The practical using of my work is to find out new information about healthy way of life and to use this information to keep health.

Don’t smoke.

Don’t smoke! Do you think you are strong enough to follow this advice? It looks smart in old movies, and it seems that everybody does it. But that is just a clever form of advertising. Smoking is unhealthy.

It is unpleasant and harmful to non-smokers, too, and a serious fire risk. It is offensive in public places like cafes and schools. Any form of addiction or excess is unhealthy, whether it is tobacco, alcohol, drugs, sugary things, or money. It may be a sign of not growing up and not being able to cope.

Do you know that 16th of November is the day when people all over the world quit smoking?

Do you know that every year 3 million people die of smoking?

Do you know that your life is 25% shorter if you smoke?

Do you know that only 13% of the population smoke in the USA, but in Russia – more than 76%? 400,000 people die in Russia every year as a result of smoking. Imagine that a whole town like Ufa disappears every year.

In Britain smoking is now forbidden in many public places: on the underground, on stations, in shops, in theatres and in cinemas.

Those who smoke are weak because if they see somebody smoking they join them.

 

Sport as a Lifestyle.

If you want to feel fit you’d better go in for one kind of sport or another. I should admit that everyone must do all he can to be healthy. Good health is better than the best medicine. “You have a sound mind in a sound body” as the old Latin saying goes. The English proverb “Sickness in the body brings sickness to the mind” expresses a similar idea but from different point of view. All kinds of physical exercises are very useful to make our bodies strong and to keep ourselves fit and healthy. To tell the truth I don’t do sports regularly and it is not an essential part of my daily life. In the morning I do some exercises just to awake. Then some aerobics for myself. It puts me into the fine moods. In summer I go swimming as there is a beautiful river with pure water where my Granny lives. In winter, it’s rather long at our place, I should say, I prefer skiing. There is nothing like the sight of a winter forest - a real fairy-tale. I like to ride the bike and tobogganing in winter. Mum says that I’m too old to do it, why not after all? I shouldn’t call myself a sports fan. Of course, I like to watch sports competitions on TV. Fortunately, they show different ones - football, basketball. I like tennis tournaments very much. I think, it’s a very intelligent kind of sport for clever thinking people. Also I admire skiing championships, biathlon and swimming. But what I like most is basketball. The best games are viewed on TV. I came to know that modern basketball appeared in 1891 in the USA. Since then basketball has become very popular and is spread all over the world. It is the sport of strong tall men, the sport of giants.

Doing sports a man become strong, healthy and gay. He begins to take care of his health.

“Good health is better than wealth”, you know. It’s true, I should say. In our school we have a nice gym. Sports and games are popular among pupils.

 

Keeping fit.

To keep fit most people do sports. Some of them join a sports club. The most popular individual sports are walking, swimming, cycling and aerobics.

People work hard. They come home late and are busy at weekends. They have no time to go to a sports club or sports centre which isn’t quite near their homes. They can hardly do sport seriously. They just want to relax.

People of all ages and types do exercises at home to improve their health and to keep fit. In the morning they switch on TV and follow fitness classes at home or go jogging in the park in the evening. To jog or not to jog? On the one hand, every one should think about a healthy way of life… But on the other hand – getting up early at the weekend? Never! And what about swimming? What real pleasure is there in the pool? The warming up before swimming helps you to feel great. And quite good music. These 15 minutes of aerobics and 30 minutes of swimming work wonders. Very refreshing. After that you feel ready for the next week’s marathon. Instead of swimming or jogging you could go on a cycling tour. This kind of sport also does people a lot of good, and the morning air smells wonderful.

But I also believe beauty has to be physical and spiritual. What do I mean when talking about spiritual beauty? I mean the beauty of the inner world of a person: kindness, responsibility, willingness to help, friendliness and other traits of character.

Such person will give warmth to the people that surround him or her. In my opinion, a truly beautiful person must combine physical beauty with good traits of character.

 

Conclusion.

I think it is very important to be fit and healthy, and it is necessary to take care of your health. Being fat, in fact, can cause real problems. It is harder for fat people to get a good job, or even to make friends. If you want to do well, you must be thin. That’s why I go in for sports on a regular basis. I have been doing aerobics for three years and I feel great. I am not enthusiastic about strict dieting, but I try to eat only low-fat food, and fruit and vegetables which are rich in vitamins. Personally I believe that regularity in life promotes our health. Sleeping eight or nine hours, getting up early, regular meals, a healthy diet and going in for sports is really a good way to live.
